There is no lower age limit and certainly no upper age limit to joining the u3a. You should be in the 'Third Age' of life and possibly retired or not in full-time work - this is mainly so that you have time to participate in the many activities the u3a offers but the extent of your participation is totally up to you.
Our Membership Secretary, Christine Butler, will be pleased to give you more information about joining the Bingham u3a. The membership fee is £15. Members of another u3a will receive a discount of £4 bringing the total payable to £11. Please indicate which u3a on the application form
There is an application form at the bottom of this page. Please make your cheque payable to u3a Bingham (NOT Bingham u3a) with your name printed on the reverse and either bring it to one of the Monthly Meetings or send it to Christine Butler, Bingham u3a Membership Secretary, 27 Conery Gardens, Whatton in the Vale, Notts, NG13 9FD . You can also pay by BACS - see Membership form below. After payment is made you will be issued with a welcome pack and a membership card for the current year. The card should be taken along to group meetings to show you are a fully paid-up member.

The quarterly u3a magazine Third Age Matters (TAM) is available on payment of a small fee of £4 bringing the total payable to £19.
There is a Monthly Meeting on the third Wednesday of each month (except August) starting at 2pm held in the Methodist Centre where you can join up. You are welcome to come as a visitor.
